The National Assembly Approved the 2022 Budget to help Cambodia achieve socio-economic recovery after COVID-19.
According to the National Assembly of Cambodia, the National Assembly of Cambodia unanimously approved the 2022 Budget Bill, which will help Cambodia achieve socio-economic recovery after the Covid-19 crisis.
The Cambodian Parliament statement stated that the Budget Bill 2022 will enable the Cambodian government to continue advancing the national development process, realizing the Rectangular Strategy and “Phase IV of the National Strategic Development Plan 2019-2023”. In addition, the bill will accelerate the implementation of all areas of reform in the Cambodian government.
In the previous month, the Cambodian cabinet reviewed and approved the draft 2022 budget law of 32576.9 trillion riels (about 8.013 billion US dollars), with fiscal revenue of 23462.6 trillion riels (about 5.771 billion US dollars).
